Picked up my dehumidifier and two chairs, waiting for the dory bike for my daughter. Took no time at all, customer service was great! This was in the Brick WalMart in NJ

12 cots no issues picking up. Website did show order canclation requested.

So far picked up some cots, a mattress and another item that I purchased not on the sale and had to wait over an hour because the merchandise was on a truck outside. The rep mentioned that they never have to have trucks outside other than Christmas. The amount of frum people in Walmart on the pickup line was also quite incredible.

Scooped up an office chair and 60″ table on the same day… office chair was ready on day promised and was relatively easy to pickup. Table was delayed almost 5 days. Finally did a chat with Walmart.com and they were able to confirm availability for pickup. Fedex tracking to store showed an exception twice.. I guess you get what you pay for? Don’t usually shop there (location) and ended up buying other items on both trips. So Wally World made a smart move.

Picked up the round table a swivel chair, took like 20 minutes but still waiting for the rocker ($11) that should’ve arrived by today but I don’t want to call them because they might just give me a refund, so I’ll wait a few more days…

I just picked up the Baby Relax Tinsley Rocker Chair (I ordered 3 but only 1 was ready) I went a different day to pick it up and there were about 10 people on line, so I went today and being the first one on line still took a half an hour! They said they (Howell Walmart) received over 600(!!!!!!!) of them. They also claimed it was a price mistake that took place on many items, and somehow the shipping cost got exchanged with the actual cost.

I picked up a Coleman 30×80 cot for $6 (normally $70) and my experience was actually really smooth! Store was in Pittsburgh.

My experience was great.
I got the futon (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Emily-Convertible-Futon-Multiple-Colors/40611149) in two colors, because I wouldn’t sure which my wife would like.
When we went to pick them up, I told the lady that we’d be returning one right away. She opened both boxes for us, chose one and then returned the other.
We were in and out in less than 5 minutes!

So far I have picked up:
1 office chair $13
1 queen mattres in a box $71
3 rocking chairs $10 (have two more on the way
1 glider with ottoman $35
1 round table $7

All have gone pretty smoothly with the exception of a little confusion on the rocking chairs as they were ordered on different order numbers and the employee gave the wrong box for the wrong order. So when I went back to pick up the second order they couldn’t find the box but found a different order which should I already picked it up. Took 10 mins to resolve. Not a huge deal.

I have been 3 times and not a single time was there a line. In and out in like 25 mins including the time to walk to the back of the store.

I picked up the glider and office chair, took some time to find the items. However the rocker order was mistakenly sent back to the warehouse. If anyone has an extra rocker in teterboro more than happy to buy off of them.

1 office chair for $15

I went in several times to one local wal-mart (one of 4 within a 30min drive) to pick up items, and I was in an out in 5 minutes — 2 minutes walking to the very back of the store each way.

I had only one issue when picking up an order for two of the desk chairs that were posted on here. The pick-up person didn’t initially see the second chair in the back, and was confused by my claim that there were two based on the screen info on his device (it didn’t show a quantity for whatever reason?). I pointed out the receipt on my phone: QTY 2, and he went back to find the second chair. Took a couple minutes, but he found it, apologetically.

Was a great week of pick-ups, and still need to go back for one more.

Never received order pick up email. Order cancelled.

Picked up a few office chairs and the guy wanted to my one off of me.
Saw stacks of tables there and other stuff looks like 10+ of items all to the same person. Each has a name everything has a name there so it was hysterical to see the large quantities.
In addition the guys waiting on the return line were amazed at the deals scooped up.

I purchase the office chair for $15.09. I’d received an email confirmation that was the price. When I went to pick it up the pick up ticket showed $57.31. The pickup Personnel had to bring me over to customer service to adjust the price. The customer service folks said the only way they could do that was to take it back and send it back to Walmart online Center online, and then I would have to reorder it again. Isn’t that crazy? I pleaded with the customer service that all I wanted to do was pick up the chair that I bought for $15.09 and that’s all. Could they help me. So the pickup personnel went back to their desk to see what else they could do. Meanwhile I checked my bank statement and in the end I was only charged the $15 plus tax for the chair. So all this was for naught I could have been in and out of there really fast but due to their confusing system I wound up spending an extra 15 minutes there.

Why couldn’t someone just tell me that the $57.31 listed on the receipt didn’t mean I was charged that. Even more, why does it have to have that price there in the first place? Why couldn’t it just say item was paid at $15.09 plus tax. End of story. In the end I’m happy I got the chair I put it together it seems to work nice. But what a hassle. Next time I guess I’ll check my bank statement to make sure of what they charge me. But that doesn’t mean the whole Walmart pickup experience wasn’t confusing and a hassle.

How big is the box with the baby relax rocker? Can I fit it in a car or do I need a van?

Got the Futon for $54 and the office chair for $15. Picked up was smooth and quick. They even brought them out and loaded them into my car. I was surprised how good the service was from WalMart.

Picked up a cot with no problem it was stored in a back room because of it’s size but they found it right away. The problem was getting it into my car Chevy Cruze. With some trouble I got it in. Sent a rocking chair to a Walmart closer to home(other store is right by work). I am going to pick it up on Sunday with my Wife’s car.

Real World Results from Last Week:

of 5 items ordered in 4 different orders only one arrived totally as promised in store and on time.

Lets look at the other 3 orders–One for two chairs with tremendous pickup discount, arrived at store on time. Of the two, one was badly damaged (but not seen until unboxing at home) and had to be returned to store (48 pounds, so not impossible but a lot of lifting-although associate at store with cart brought it out to car and brought it back in two days later). Phone agent at walmart dot com–off shore center–assured me that a re-order at the sale price would be handled by store at customer service desk. Nothing could have been farther from the truth.No details needed but I can assure you that even with the discount, I chose not to attempt to step thru all the hoops to attempt a replacement. Refund itself for the one chair was not a problem.

Next order for another furniture item, was cancelled for no reason, without an email. When calling the off shore center, a very helpful and kind agent found that the item was “lost in transit” and thus cancelled without any notice ! At least that is what her system told her. She was happy to re order and gave me the pick up price, but it took her almost 10 additional minutes to see and verify what that price structure was. As of this moment there are 4 different charges and 6 different credits on my account for this item, and hopefully they will all add up correctly.

The last item was a dot com order without the pickup discount to be delivered > $100, free shipping.Confirmation of arrival date by email was not met, causing a conundrum of phone calls to the off shore center and to Fed ex in order to reschedule to another day when someone would be home so that the order would not be out on the front steps all day. This took 45 minutes and multiple calls, each agent denying there was anything that could be done, including not being able to cancel the order.

Yes, this is way too wordy, but in my opinion, Amazon has nothing to worry about. The WM service is just abominable. This does not even take into account the other posters who have mentioned the lines and the wait at WM pick up areas to get an agent or get their order found and get out of the store!

I picked up the Coleman 30×80 cot from valley stream, ny. It took them about 20 minutes to find it. Considering how big the box was, I still find the Walmart inefficiency astonishing.

The cots took 15 minutes to pickup while the rocker chair took 8 minutes.

you can request for them to hold it for you until the rest of your order arrives.

Picked up 20 5 lbs cap plates. Took 3 trips to the store and 2 online chats to get my order correct. Won’t use this service again.

That hour long wait was me. Valley stream stinks. But i knew full well going in that it wouldnt be a cakewalk.

I ordered two of the desk chairs at $15. Came within a few days, and I decided to go to the walmart store to pick them up on my way in to work, thinking it would be 5 minutes in and out. Of course, it took almost 30 minutes from the time I parked my car until I walked out of the store.

The order was fine, but as usual the help at walmart is subpar at best. It took me about 10 minutes to get someone to help me, and it took him another 20 minutes and 3 trips to get my items. He first brought out a futon, then one of the two chairs, insisting that both of them were in the non-descript box. We actually opened the box to verify that it only contained one chair (I guess me pointing to the ‘Qty 1 Chair’ on the outside wasn’t enough).

Turns out, the chairs are great, and my wife wished that I’d bought a couple more for the kids.

i just got a $10 egift card after chatting that my rocker should”ve arrived today but the tracking says that its gana arrive on monday!

For Lakewood NJ people, if you want to use store pickup: Brick- great, Howell- NEVER!

With online store checkin via the Walmart app I did not have to wait more than a couple of minutes in Owings Mills MD since they were already pulling the office chair and crib mattress out of the back as I walked into the store. The rocking chair was a different story, the app said it was in the store (no pickup email) and the store inventory scanner said it was….somewhere. After calling Walmart.com and getting the signed name of the receiver at the store, the associate DID go through all the received items (3 pallets) and found it 10 minutes later off on the side. In the meantime I explained to everyone in line how they were searching for my $10 rocking chair and to subscribe to dans deals 😀

At first Was realitivly quick (my walmart pickup is always slow) only 3 people ahead of me.until he couldn’t find the Tinsley rocker.he told me nothing he can do except refund it. I spoke to a manager who told me they got 59 pallets of just the Tinsley rocker and went to look for it and found it. Total of an hr

To those who have picked up the $10.94 rocker, does it fit easily into the back of a small minivan with seats removed?

@Rocker: Yes, it is quite compact since you have to assemble it. The box fit in the back of my Sienna but it is HEAVY, about 45 lbs per the box lettering

Everything went smooth. They loaded in my car without me asking. Total time in store was 15 minutes and that’s including some quick shopping.
P.S. I never shop there so they def got me on that.

I never recieved email to pick up my 1 rocker with ottoman. I hope my order won’t get cancelled. Although when I look at my order it shows it is in store not ready for pick up.

However, while I was there, someone else’s item wasnt there, despite his getting an email it was ready. He did not like the compensation of being a gift card for the value of the item to re-order it and also getting a refund. For that compensation, I wished that they had lost my item.

Awful experience. I ordered a crib mattress, went to howell NJ Wal-Mart to pick up. After an hour the associate came back that he couldn’t find it. I left. Line of people there for hours to pick up stuff, some were getting their orders, many were not found. Amazon has nothing to worry about.

Near Lakewood we have 2 Walmarts.
So ordered 1 office chair to each of them in case one gets cancelled or in site issues.
The brick Walmart had my chair on the day originally indicated. The Howell Walmart got it 2 days later. So far I have only picked up the one in brick was in and or within 5 minutes. Thevbix was a bit damaged with a hole and one if the legs poking out. Which the rep made due to point out and day they looked it over and couldn’t find any physical damage to the actual chair which was true once I opened the box at home. The assembly was quick and easy… All in all. $16 for a$75 chair is a great deal!!!

I ordered the glider with ottoman to valley stream. Was ready for quite an experience. Was overall happy with the results. I thought I’d have to wait an hour. Instead I went to the pickup counter and they informed me that it was on one of 2 trucks outside. I went shopping while they found it. When I came back they had it waiting for me. Fit in the trunk of my crv. Employee was very helpful and nice. One thing to note, online it says pick up is till 8 but they are really open till 10. Best part was found parking outside my building and didn’t have to schlep it far.

Fabulous!! Picked up rocker, office chair and round table. Walked in Walmart, registered on the screen and had my order ready within 5 minutes. Guys from there loaded all into my SUV! Love all my bargains. All great looking and very useful!! Dan, you are the man!!! What fabulous deals!!!!

I actually used this service previously in March when there was no crazy deal and it was not bad. Now I have to be willing to wait in the store…

Ordered 3 Coleman cots ( Baltimore area).
Walmart pickup is always an adventure and pot luck as to getting an associate to care enough to go get it. Also the pickup area is next to the employee bathrooms so if you like the smell of urine you’ve come to the right place.
Arrived for pickup and the associate came back five minutes later with two boxes but said that he couldn’t find the third. Then he realized that maybe one of the boxes said ( on the picking slip) ” 2 pieces” and we opened it and indeed it had two cots. The strange thing is that the other box said “1 piece” but when I opened it later in my car it also had two cots ( duh…The boxes were fr the Coleman factory).
Four $70 cots for $6 each and buy three get one free ( lol).

I ordered a baby mattress. It was supposed to arrive at the Walmart near me on 5/16, but the item checked in at a facility in Hammond, IN on 5/11, and never checked out. When I contacted customer service, they said the item is lost and insisted on processing a refund instead of waiting for it to show up. Also, they said they couldn’t send me another mattress.

Item never made it to store so they cancelled the order. I had spoken with a customer service rep last week who said I could order in a different color if it did not get to the store by the end of the week. Now the other color is out of stock too.

If I had known the volume of people ordering to this store (Valley Stream) I would have sent to Uniondale.

Is anyone able to post proof of their purchase of the Tinsley Rocker? The representatives at Walmart are giving me a difficult time at honoring the price and are claiming in its history it has never been sold for $10.94??
