To celebrate July 4th Sheetz gas stations are making all gas just $1.77/gallon! This includes all grades!

They previously had a Black Friday sale on their Super 88 gas for $1.99/gallon, but this sale is of course much better. You should expect long lines though at stations.

Locate a Sheetz near you here.

Will you wait in line for cheap gas?

I will drive 63 miles to the nearest Sheetz gas station and wait on line for as long as it takes just so that I can report how low gas prices are under our current president and stress the importance of voting for him as early as possible. Just in case…

No Sheetz around here.

I use an approximately $1 per minute or 2 rule. So if I’m going to be putting 18 gallons and can save $1.50 per gallon, I will invest up to 30 minutes, between detouring and waiting in line (assuming I have nowhere urgent to get to).
Usually I can save about 20c per gallon by using my Walmart+ and gassing up at Exxon/Mobil, so invest up to 5-8 minutes.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but some stations will automatically cut off the pump at 75 dollars when using a credit card.

I’ve also, seen some that stop at 100

Cheap Gas

Alright, who’s up for hiring a Monsey Bus and loading it up with gas cans?

Assume $400 for the bus. Assume you can buy 2,000 gallons of fuel. At $1.50 per gallon savings, that is $2,600 profit for ~3 hours of work! (8 pumps * 10 gpm per pump = 25 minutes of pumping to fill 2K gallons + ~1 hour each way = 2.5 rounded up = 3 hours.)

(So you’ll have to spend ~$12,000 for 67 thirty-gallon fuel caddys at $180 each, consider that a long-term investment! It’ll pay for itself in only 4-5 years!)

YO

400 for a bus? You wish. Try 4000, if not more. (This is besides for the other obvious issues with your grand scheme.)
