My understanding of the cRc’s position, is that r’ Moshe heter is irrelevant to current sherry casks. R’ Moshe was talking about people pouring wine in for tax purposes but not to enhance the flavor. So nowadays when they want the sherry flavor could be r’ Moshe would hold its assur.
