I did kosher advantage back when they had the Talia’s groupon offer. I love the concept but most restaurants that “participate” may not recognize the card. I went to Dougie’s boro park and flashed the card (which I’m now paying like 4 bucks a month for because they make it very hard to cancel). The waiter had no idea what it was, I asked him to show it to the manager, he had not idea what it was. eventually a different “manager type” happened to come in and was like yeah I think we give a 5% discount or something. I showed her on my cell phone that its advertized on kosher advantages website for a 10 percent discount,so she agreed to take off the 10 percent, albeit begrudgingly. These days my wife doesn’t let me use it when I’m with her, because I usually need to make a whole stink just to get the discount that I’m paying for.
