Update: Doordash has clarified that while the current $5 Sapphire Reserve monthly credits expire after 3 months, the new $5 Restaurant promo and $10 Grocery promos will expire at the end of each month.

That means the final $5 credit issued in January will expire on 3/31/25. You will be able to stack the December 2024 and January 2025 $5 credits together with the monthly expiring $5 restaurant promo or $10 grocery promo, during the months of February or March 2025.

Chase cardmembers can enroll in Doordash DashPass here.

Below are the details of the extended partnership agreement with the companies:

    • Cardmembers with active, free DashPass memberships will continue to receive the benefit through December 31, 2027.
    • New and existing Sapphire Reserve cardmembers who have not yet activated the DashPass benefit can enroll to receive a complimentary DashPass benefit through December 31, 2027, or a minimum of 12 months, dependent upon the activation date.

For sapphire reserve, will the $5 monthly promo still stay in the account for 3 months to be stackeable to $15 before they expire?

Gali

Worded so poorly. No idea.

Eddie Bauer

This was in the $5 credit email I just received from DoorDash: “Credits roll over month to month to a maximum of $15. Credit not used by the end of the third full calendar month after issuance will expire.”

Gali

What does two promos of $10 mean for CSR?

And for 2/1/2025 is it $5 on top of the existing $5? I think this needs to be explained much much better.

Tsip

So maybe $10 off each order?

puzzlefighter

I added three freedom cards and activated them via the link two days ago. They gave me 3x3months free door dash, which seems to work as expected. However, I do not appear to have any credits loaded into my account. There are no promotions to add at checkout using a mock order at a Jimmy Johns, though the dashpass delivery benefit applies. Did I miss a step?

$10 is only for supermarket orders. Let us know if you get 3 coupons.

Oompaloompa

I never really even check on the promos these all offer (doordash, grubhub, dashpass etc) on non restaurant orders. Maybe that is my own misconception, but I always thought they would hike up the price of items significantly, making Instacart (using discounted GCs) the only way worth going…

AE

They do mark up the price significantly, but if you are getting $10 off per order and you can figure out how to get in a $10 (or so) order, that makes whatever you get essentially free. Same idea as the Instacart $15 credits – the markup can be pretty bad, but if you are getting $15 off $35, you can generally eke out a decent deal.

Yankelowitz

No coupons can be used on DoorDash with the $10 promo. Night and day. Major negative change.

AC

Look around and you’ll find same price or even cheaper…

FBR

Can you stack coupons from CSR and Freedom on the same order?

Yankelowitz

This is very frustrating and much worse than the blanket $15 credit from instacart monthly on the CSR.

The $10 promos do NOT allow the use of any coupons as opposed to Instacart and when you factor DoorDash’s “fees” on deliveries, as most supermarkets don’t have pickup, it’s a wash. Chase has to add more value to make this card worth the $550.
