Effective November 8, 2024, in addition to having Uber Cash toggled on, an American Express Card must be selected as the payment method for your transaction to redeem Uber Cash received through the Amex Benefit.

If i get the amex platinum 15$ uber benefits, does this interfere with that?

Anyone know if this is available in store? Before this deal I took a stack of $800 worth of cards to checkout in store. The sign in store said a limit of 2 $100 cards. The machine at checkout let me do 3 in checkout then the system stopped the cashier at 3. I said, that’s fine I can stop at 3, but the cashier insisted that we just keep doing more separate transactions because “the customer should get what they want”.

They cancelled my order twice for this, I had to go in to the store and buy physical ones (same price). FYI, the PayPal debit card codes Costco (and Bingo, Walmart and Target) as a grocery store so you can get 5% back and yes, even if you use it as a debit card with the PIN.

Uber allows you to change payment methods for transactions in last 30 days, nice way to refund CC charges and use this Uber cash instead.

Since I have added the gift cards to my account I’m getting higher rates. I tested with another account and it’s constantly 20-30% higher than the account without the gift card.
Anyone else seeing this?

By me it was cancelled 3x without a reason, I chatted with them , they added $5.00 for the aggravation
