Shutterfly photos and photo book book quality is far superior to photos and photo books from Snapfish/Amazon Photos.
The 8×11 is my go-to book, we make one for every trip we go on and it’s always stunningly awesome! I’d highly recommend getting the 8×11 size over the 8×8 size.
While the promotion calls it unlimited extra pages, there is actually a limit of 111 pages in a photo book.
A normal photo book only includes 20 pages. Each extra page normally costs $1.29-$2.29 each, so this represents a massive savings on photo books with lots of pages!
Shutterfly hasn’t run one of these promo in several months, but unfortunately they’re only currently offering 10-30% off photo books. That means the savings isn’t as good as it has been when this promotion stacked with 40% off photo books. Update: You can now get 40$ off with the stackable code above!

Buy a Groupon, $13.99 for an 8×11 book. Plus $8.99 shipping, that’s a total less of less than $25 for an 8×11 book with extra pages, shipped.
@Dan: Is there any reason you don’t promote the groupon coupon on this?
Not much of a savings once your factor in shipping on the Groupon and I’d want to test it out first to verify before posting unless you want to share some screenshots.
Don’t know where to share screenshots, but I can also confirm I did this in March.
I think that most people order one book at a time so it is a saving.
I did it back in March after you posted the deal, and it worked.
I paid groupon $13.99 and shutterfly $8.99+$0.80 tax only for the shipping.
That’s a total of $23.78 instead of $23.99+tax+shipping= $35.91.

Ouch! Completed an 11×14 lay flat with 93 pages just last week. It was 40% of the book and 30% off the extra pages but still came out to slightly over $200. Ah, well…

you can try chatting with them on their website to see if they would give you any credit back. I’n my experience they try very hard for customer satisfaction
groupon seems to be dead

SHIPPING TO ISRAEL – BEWARE: Just found out from Shutterfly “we ship our orders with the original amount and not the sale price. We are not able to adjust the price depending on the sale. The requirement is to ship the order with the actual cost not a sale price.” This means, that you will be taxed unless the original price was below $75.
I bought the groupon, but when I go to “Redeem online”, it’s taking me to a Shutterfly page with no code- it’s not giving me the code to apply to my account! I contacted their customer service and was told that without a promo code, they cannot help me… any idea what I need to do? thank you!
I placed my order *literally* at the last minute just before the PAGES promo expired (I had to cut short a longer book I was designing because I was running out of time). Afterwards, I saw this message on the homepage:
“Ends Wed, Jul 8 EXTENDED UNLIMITED FREE PHOTO BOOK PAGES + UP TO 40% OFF EVERYTHING* code: PAGES”
