I bought it last year and sold the impact drill on ebay for 60.
going to buy it again since i bought a string trimmer. so i can work for a long time time without interruption these batteries are amazing.
Would totally buy now if a string trimmer came with this… the one tool they don’t offer!
Leaf Blower. I have some of the others already.
You can also return the batteries and get the tool at prorated price
you can also return the tool for store credit and keep the battery’s @ a discount.
compared to some other brands, what quality would these drills be compared to? great quality like dewalt or B&D quality?
Thanks.
Somewhere in the middle
at best….power is quite weak, but for day to day stuff, drill should be fine.
(But, for day to day drill — you don’t need to spend $99)
maybe true about somewhere in the middle, but as someone who has owned products from all three brands, it’s a fair bit if not a far sight closer to dewalt than B&D
I agree, just give a quick check to each product rating before buying, some are closer to the top than others…
give me a break, if its a good deal then let it be called that. dont tell me its batteries that comes w a free tool(!), for 100$. thats silly. not mocking dansdeals, im mocking the home depot
It’s about 50% off retail. Look at the package in total. You get 2 P197 batteries which are towards the top of their line for around $25 each, a charger and carry bag for around $10, and a <=$80 tool for $40. I'm a big fan of ryobi – never been disappointed with their tools (except refurbs) so this is a good incentive to me.
It’s $89 now
