You can ask your local ice cream store to sell you the mix.
Personally I bought a whole case of soft serve mix from Klein’s in Boro Park for dirt cheap.
Or you can make your own ice cream.
so where is it better to buy it from in case there is problem with it.

do you know how much 1 gallon makes, does it make one gallon of soft serve?

Using the gallon container if you make 2 cups of mix at a time you will have enough to make ice cream 8 times!
The ice cream approximately doubles in size when you make it, so 2 cups of mix is enough to make a quart of ice cream.

@ Rochel. The machine comes with recipes. All you need is cream, milk, sugar and flavoring. I have this machine and it would be awesome if I could remember to freeze the bowls in advance :-).
