Even subtracting the $10 gift card, the giant packs are not as competitively priced as Luvs when using S&S with Amazon Mom. The Bulk packs can be, but it’s pretty gambly to buy that many diapers of any one size and variety imho (e.g. 192 size 4 or 172 size 5 per box). You can mix and match, but if recollection serves, my kids progressed about one size per month or faster and didn’t always use all the diapers even in the smaller, giant equivalent boxes from Luvs. If you did use the example combo, that’s only about $0.152/per diaper for 364 diapers after tax and subtracting the $25 gift card. A similar combo of Luvs would be 0.17 per diaper for 300 after tax, but there is no messing with a gift card and they’re shipped to you. You would save in the vicinity of $6.50 going for the target deal but have to go to target and tie money up in a gift card.

@puzzlefighter – your kids grow really fast!!! my kid stays in the same size for months. If they progressed one size per month, then what did you do when they reached the last size at just a few months old? (I’m not trying to mock – I really want to know.) I’m lucky that I am able to use each box of any size down to the last diaper. My baby goes through several biggest quantity boxes of each size over the course of a few months – I think that’s how it is for most people – at least in the bigger sizes. Also, you mentioned that the Luvs brand would be shipped to you – doesn’t it say that the bulk plus are eligible for shipping? That’ll be free shipping plus with a Target card you can get 5% off…

@puzzlefighter – I just figured out that with a Target card getting you 5% off and free shipping, and after the gift card – the diapers in the bulk plus pack should work out to be about $00.106/size 3 diaper, $00.123/size 4 diaper, & $00.137/size 5 diaper. I didn’t factor in tax, but that could hardly shift the price a penny per diaper, so unless I’m missing something else, it seems like this is a much better deal than the s&s Luvs.

This a great deal. Not sure about your babies growing a size a month. what do you put them in at 7 months? We ran out of diapers last week and I bought two giant packs last week at regular price. I will be buying two at the sale price plus the gift card and then turn around and return them on last week’s receipt.
