I have a similar model, it makes fantastic rice! However, the owners manual says not to use the keep warm setting for more than 12 hours, it won’t work for Shabbos lunch.
For Friday night dinner, I think there’s are Shabbos issues. My unit has a round push-down switch that is held down by the bowl. Taking out the bowl triggers something, not clear to me what that is.
Left mine on for many shabbosim no problem.
I’ve taken the bowl out, and never seen any change in its electronic status of it. But please let me know if there is.
