Hey Dan or JJ,
Jusy got my first credit score (a 750) after building it up for 6 months, and I want to apply for my first good credit card now. Looking for an everyday credit card with no annual fee. I’m a student, so not spending an insane amount, or traveling too much, and i intend to sign up for an airline credit car in a few months, so dont really need points. which card do you recommend? I was thinking about maybe the citi double cash, or the amex everyday…. thoughts ?
Thanks!
I’d start with a no-fee component of the Quadfecta:

Seems a bit complicated…citi double cash not a good option?
It’s a great option if you have no long-term interest in a points system that gives outsized value for travel.
All you need to start is a Freedom or Freedom Unlimited.
I hear you. Is it only a good option if I intend to go with a fancier chase cart later on, or even if I let’s say get the freedom unlimited today, and and the Delta gold in a few months?
