AMEX Business Platinum cardholders can register here for $100 cash back at Dell.com every January-June and $100 cash back every July-December. The 50OFF699 code was expired as of this afternoon when I tried to use it. To quote the rep I chatted with: “it is end of life. Sorry about that”. She did say that a July 4th sale was starting tomorrow.
Also, on top of the Amex benefits listed above, I had four Amex cards with an offer of “Spend $600 at dell.com, get $120 back”.
Looking forward to getting a New XPS 13 on tomorrow’s sale using two cards with $120 back from $600 and the $200 back from the Platinum, 10% off the balance, and the extra points offers… 🙂
Works now.
Whats the difference between this one and the one you posted on may 20?
Is is the same just with better processor ?
Dell Inspiron 5000 15.6″ FHD Core i5 Laptop With 256GB SSD For $499.99, As Low As $249.99 For Business Platinum Cardholders
Better processer, double the SSD.
Would you recommend this laptop? Is it such a great deal?
Why would he post it if he didn’t recommend?
it is a very good price
I was waiting for July 4 sure that is fine great deals on laptops but can’t find anytr! I don’t have an amex business card so this doesn’t work for me
Hi Dan,
Last time I purchased something from Dell they didn’t know anything about the 10% discount. Also AMEX didn’t know.
Where do you see this promotion?
Thanks,
Nathan
It’s a targeted amex offer, on business cards.
Dead for me
Actually, the Touch screen version is dead but the non touch is still working
Is this a good deal? How does it compare with Black Friday deals? Leaving Amex benefit out if the equation
I can’t tell if it has a numeric keypad. Can anybody find that info?
it has one
you can see it in the photos
Anyone have a tax-exempt account with Dell that can order this for a Mossad? Or does anyone know how to set up tax exemption with them?
Please update the post with $120 off $600 at Dell with Amex offer even for personal accounts.
Thanks so much.
Dan,
I purchased the one you posted a month ago (with the dell credit…) But i wanna return it and buy the one with the better processor,
If i return it AMEX will take back the $200 dell credit?
Thank you

Oh wow, looks better to me, But lets wait for DAN to answer this for us
is there a way to get the fingerprint feature to unlock the PC? i dont see it
Is the $200 credit per account or per card – i.e. if I have 3 cards on the same business account do I get $600?
Dan,
If I do not have an Amex card with the Dell benefit (I only have the Bonvoy Amex), which card would you use? Would you still use the Amex (Bonvoy) for their return benefits (extended warranty…) or one of the Chase cards (I have CSP, Freedom and Ink Cash)?
can you run adobe applications smoothly on it? since its only a 1.3ghz cpu
Is this deal still on ? Says out of stock
