I see it has a high rating on Amazon but it seems from more recent reviews that dell has made a change in the components that they use in this monitor
It seems like there are brightness issues and other problems with the more recent components

I ordered a similar deal last week on 22″ monitors with a stand for $159.99. I got them yesterday and only the stand came NOT THE MONITORS! When I called Dell they told me it was a mistake on the listing and they are having me return it for a full refund… Just letting you guys know…

@ David you might be right. I did a search on Dell’s website for Part # 5TPP7, and the results was just the stand and at price .. you guessed it 169.99
If you look at the tech specs, it says it’s just a stand. The overview says it includes the monitors. Based on David’s comment in going to assume this was an oops & not order a stand I have to hassle with sending back. :/

The stand is truly part # 5TPP7. However, the offer was for U2412M WITH MDS14. That means the monitors + the stand.
FYI – I ordered the price mistake last week for the stand with two 22″ monitors. Stand only arrived yesterday. Spent an hour on the phone with Dell in India and they say I only ordered the stand. Won’t even agree to refund the shipping charges.
This one may be a headache.

Got cancellation email. Said to call for details. Called and they said price mistake so everyone’s was cancelled. Pretty rotten customer service.
Email said “As requested, some or all of the items in this order have been cancelled.” Then said to call with any questions about it. Called and was told there was a validation error, so I can correct the error by placing the order again with the sales team. Was transferred to the sales team. They said it was a price mistake and everyone’s order was canceled. Pretty big run around to find out why the order was canceled.
Note that the product page still has the bundle and price, just says temporarily out of stock.
@Yobo: My order status still shows as confirmed, CC still shows charge pending. Mine has not been cancelled.

I just spent a while on the phone. Dell is completely useless with this, the guy on the other line told me I am one in 2,400 people that have this issue and the first disclaimer that it says on the bottom of the original confirmation email is: “Legal Disclaimers: Please note that Dell cannot be responsible for pricing or other errors and reserves the right to cancel any orders arising from such errors…”
So they will do whatever they want.
