Plenty of stores give away items for free as a promotion! It’s not like I created the Expedia promo code, they obviously made it for a reason. It’s good marketing dollars to give stuff for free and create a buzz.

And noone forces online stores to honor these mistakes. They can easily just cancel all the orders if they don’t want to honor them. The fact that Expedia is honoring the free tickets just proves that they made the promo and stood by it and liked the attention it got for them. They could have made a $300 promo code with a $1,000 spending minimum, but they didn’t and there’s nothing wrong with taking advantage of a giveaway!

It’s also against halacha to make up a halacha, perhaps keep that in mind next time you accuse me of posting deals that are against your so-called halacha…

Once I have asked Rabbi Schwei about similar situation. He said, if the company knows and does not mind, you can do it even it violates their own rules. If the company minds, you have to follow their rules. XP could cancel all these tickets if they would mind (like it happened with BA to India deal)
BTW, I booked my ticket on xp before it said Canada only, so there is no question at all.

I am relatively new to Dans Deals and I went this morning to attempt to purchase the Logitech Webcam HD. The site shows that it is unavailable online and for store pickup. I would purchase one or two from those who were successful in getting a number of these units. Can someone advise me on how to order this item. Your help would be much appreciated.

It worked for instore pick up. Just went to Best Buy on mayfield. Looks like the lady didn’t notice the $0 when she printed out the receipt.

Just picked up mine, in store, lady was shocked it came up priceless but didn’t say a word and I walked out with my free web cam 🙂
