Only the Galaxy Note had a battery issue. Both the S7 and S7 edge have been out for a while without issues.

Just buy it on an AMEX with return protection and AMEX will pay for the restocking fee. Couldn’t be easier, just did it myself.
Also the restocking fee is waived if the phone is defective.

Update: yes the 930U will work in Israel and, in the US, also with Verizon (tho some reported that WiFi calling may be an issue).
IMPORTANT: Samsung Galaxy S8 is planned to launch in January, at which time the S7 will likely be offered at deep discounts.
