I am selling my S6 for this phone. Cant stand the battery life.
I got the s6 from s5 love it. I still have my s5 verizon looking to sell
Dan: Coming over to the dark side?!
@Username:
Huh?
The S5 has an SD slot, a replaceable battery, etc. It’s the S6 that I’m mad about.
How do I get it for 314 it’s only coming up as 324 for me with the code?
Thanks
Android 4.4.2. I’m using Tmobile, will this upgrade to Android 5 or 5.1 ?
Anything about this being International version that I should be aware of?
This is good to use with AT&T / Cricket(or to use in Israel) but if you want to use T-mobile you should buy a T-Mobile S5 as you won’t get the LTE T-Mobile bands with this phone (from my limited) research). A couple weeks ago T-Mobile had the S5 on sale (brand new) for $379. It was a great deal and they unlock it for your after 40 days (assuming the phone is paid off) so you could always use it with AT&T or in Israel.
By the way Dan, T-Mobile’s 4GLTE is awesome! I switched from Verizon after being with Verizon for 14+ years and I love. The fee international roaming (for data & texting) is awesome! All the speed tests I’ve done (all in NJ / NY area) have had Faster speeds than Verizon. Of course T-Mobile’s network isn’t as good in more remote places but they are rapidly expanding. 2 years ago their service was terrible and they had no LTE network not they cover over 2/3 of the US population with super fast LTE. No I don’t work for T-Mobile. I’m just a happy customer!
this wont work for sprint ?
@Dan’s the Man:
thank you!!! You just saved me from a disaster.
@Dan’s the Man: i would think t-mobile let should work they operate on 1700/2100MH but i could be wrong
Will this work on sprint?
@yossi what service is the s6 if it for sprint ill buy it let me know 4acrib@gmail.com
@yoknee:
Its Att but its unlocked
@yossi can you email me
This phone doesn’t have the band 1700 which I believe is needed for T-Mobile use.
confused, is this cell good to work with t-mobile ?
It sounds like it will work for t-mobile but won’t have some of the LTE functions and wifi calling
@Dan: I just got an email that they canceled the waterproof iPhone case that you had posted last week, 2 questions first is there anything I can do if I contact Amazon, and secondly do you know if it’s s Jew that owns the company that was selling it?
Is this LTE capable? It seems like from the description it’s only 3G or 4G.
And with Tmobile bad building penetration, you will want the wifi calling
@Yiddy:
It’s definitely LTE capable for AT&T but might not be for T-Mobile. It won’t work for Sprint or Verizon at all.
@sun365: you’re welcome!
@Anonymous: the phone will work for phone, text, and all data except for T-mobile’s LTE network. Again this is based on my research and haven’t tried a non-T-Mobile S5 on the T-Mobile network.
@sari: See my previous post. Based on my research it won’t work for the T-mobile LTE network.
@Sam: Correct. It will work. But not having LTE is not AT ALL worth it. Before T-Mobile starting building their LTE network 2 years ago they were a terrible carrier to use for a smart phone. Good point about the WiFi calling. Only a T-Mobile phone would have WiFi calling. I hardly use WiFi calling b/c the network is so good in my network but it’s an awesome to feature to have in case you’re in a place with a bad signal or if you’re overseas. It seems to work much better than other VoIP WiFi calling apps.
@Yiddy: As I stated I believe it would be fine for AT&T’s LTE network but that it won’t work with T-Mobile’s LTE network.
@Mike B: I haven’t had any issue with service in buildings in my area but WiFi calling a great feature to have. All carrier’s have some bad reception area (such as basements, more rural areas, etc).
Do you know if this will work with Golan or talk-n-save (in Israel)?
Thanks!!
@Sherri: It will work with any of the GSM providers in Israel (Golan, Hot Mobile, Cellcom, etc).
So what is better the S5 or the S6 or the S6 edge? I have to upgrade from the s4. TIA
Will this work with metropcs? and will the lack of lte make a difference?
Looking to buy a s5 needs to be a Verizon phone
How much are you willing to cell it for.
Is this US or international version?
Anybody knows about performance of this cell: ASUS ZenFone 2 5.5″ 16GB Smartphone (Unlocked, Black or Silver) on sale for $199.00 with Free Super Saver Shipping.
@Dan’s the Man:
Thank you!!
@Metro: As I previously stated about T-Mobile the same applies to MetroPCS. The phone will work but LTE won’t work. Yes, LTE is a very big deal. I wouldn’t get T-Mobile or MetroPCS without LTE.
@yoni: All Samsung Galaxy smart phone are quad-band and will work both in the US (on AT&T or any prepaid brands that use AT&T’s network or on T-Mobile but LTE will NOT work on T-Mobile). The phone will also work on any European or Israeli GSM provider.
@Sherri: You’re welcome!! 🙂
In for 1. Finally a useful post (at least for those of us who don’t travel to Israel, have kids, or live in new york/jersey)
@Dan:
Oops. My mistake.
Are the phones new?
This is great — buying for my cousin in Israel
Dead – code doesn’t reduce price from $349.99 to $314.99
is it worth it can someone tell me?
