Is this like a crockpot?
Yes.. but cooks much faster as it’s a pressure cooker. But similar in you throw everything in and cook… for comparison, you can make pulled pork in 90 mins as opposed to 8+ hours.
uh, for those of us that don’t eat pork – do you have another example?
great for Blintzes
Perhaps Chulent…
pulled brisket

is this just an instant pot knockoff?
What’s the difference bwt. this and the instant pot?
I am trying to buy stuff for pesach. Is this useful for pesach?

1:37 pm PT – I have it in my cart for $29.99 and am targeted for 10% eBay Bucks. Now I need to read Amazon reviews to see if I really want this. I sometimes think I want the 3 qt Instant Pot as a companion to my 6 qt, but it’s rarely on sale when I’m thinking about it.
Nope, I don’t want this Insignia cooker because the insert is non-stick vs stainless steel.
Regarding using these as slow cookers, I read an article why Crock Pots are better – the ceramic inserts hold heat and consistent temperatures vs metal inserts where the heat source is always from the bottom.
