I’ve been selling with eBay now for a while. The $5 is charged by ebay for the courier service that picks up and delivers the merchandise.
There are no eBay sponsored promos underway now. I know the people who run ‘eBay now’. eBay only sponsor some of their deals on eBay deals – not the now project
This is definitely an individual seller who will lose a lot of money or get a huge amount of negative feedback from his price mistake

@good sam: Maybe, but who here is buying one roll of paper towels at full price? I wait till a multiple pack is on sale. Ditto for every item there, I’m not buying small bottles, I buy several gallons and use that to refill my spray bottles, etc.

Plus, most of us don’t need all the items there, but for $1.50, I’ll get the whole kit.

So these are nice, but 1 pack for $6 is not worth it, for me.

I just read the Ebay Now FAQ. Seems that if you miss your delivery, then the items will be returned to the seller and you get a refund MINUS THE DELIVER FEE.

They never tried to deliver the orders, just updated status saying delivery unsuccessful and now we are all going to pay the delivery fee for a delivery attempt that never happened on an order that they probably never intended to send to begin with.

Negative feedback will definitely help but isn’t necessary yet, email seller that if he’s not responding he’ll get negative feedback on all items from all of us.

To be honest, as much as I like a bargain if this is a mistake it’s ok if the seller cancels. I just wish he/she would let us know instead of this playing around.

Its a scam, my delivery was scheduled for Monday but the tracking shows “delivery unsuccessful march 26, 14:51.I was home at that time and besides why would they attempt delivery 4 days early?

i got the shipping companies number and called them. they said that the seller ran out of stock and i should call them. i called the seller, but a nasty lady told me that there was only 250 total deals available, and that there was a 1 item limit per person. i asked her why none of that was posted on the ebay listing, and she said it wasnt her problem and hung up on me! i called ebay, but they said they cannot make the seller ship an item not in stock. now im checking to see if we at least get our monies refunded for shipping

99% of the orders were non fulfilled period !

I tried disputing the paypal charges, and it said I cannot, that I have to go the ebay resolution center. Since I didn’t get any delivery notification, nor the shipment (duh), if they don’t credit me for the full amount, I will just dispute the amex charge.

Unfortunately, because this service is new, the people at Ebay that were handling this promotion neglected to limit the purchase quantity to 1, and also neglected to end the listing, when promo limit was reached. I ordered 1 kit, and was supposed to receive it between 2-4 pm March 26, and I received it at 8pm.

However 1 item was missing from the kitchen set (the garbage bags was not in the kit) as it was described in the listing..

Negative feedback for what? I never get it when people capitalize on a price mistake, or a computer glitch, and cry foul if it doesn’t work out exactly to their liking. Be happy if it worked out. If not, move on. There may be a next time.

This was handled very poorly on all ends. Everyone who purchased has the full right to leave negative feedback. If in fact it was ebay’s mistake let them eat the loss (they are a $60 billion company) I think they can afford it. If it was the sellers mistake let him reach out to EACH customer INDIVIDUALLY and sort it out.

When as a buyer we make a mistake many times the seller doesn’t accommodate us and we have to accept it. People have to learn how to accept responsibility for their mistakes. I’m not saying we should destroy the seller, all I’m saying is that we have a right to leave negative feedback if he didn’t keep his end of the deal and didn’t communicate with the buyers.
Everyone can make their own decision. I don’t think it’s fair to say people are greedy or mean if they want to pursue their bargain.

Just got a phone call from unknown number they apologized for the mess up on the order and went on explaiong to me that they werent expecting so many orders bla bla bla…….
bottom line thay told me they are going to deliver it today b4 6pm!!

1 he did mess up and make a mistake on this and was handled very poorly and thats what negitive feedback is for but on the other side we know hes a jew and it can affect his business I dont think he tryed cheating anybody and also you are not gaining by leaving negative feedback end of the day were all jews and we should care about other ppls business and if we have the ability to damage this guys account over a dumb mistake I dont think thats right your not gaining by leaving your negitave feedback

Especially with the tragedy we had this past weekend we should look to help every jew even if that means you were involved in a messed up order …pece N love 😉

Some people need to run real business to pay rent and not pay with miles for everything. In business mistakes do happen. Leave the guy alone. Who said this guy doesn’t have a small office with 1-2 people in it. All of sudden he gets 1000s of orders how can we possibly answer every email or phone call?

to 216 and 217, email takes seconds to send and he could have a form email he sent to everyone who emailed him. He could have at least tried.

I don’t have a problem with either not getting the order or the order getting cancelled after I pressed “pay”, what I do have a problem with is that the seller should have at least responded to the people who emailed seller through ebay instead of just ignoring those emails. This shows total lack of respect for the customers and his letter of explanation on your site came way after the deal was done. I don’t care if he got a thousand emails, as a good businessman (which clearly he is not) a response was in order. For people who leave negative feedback to him – kol hakavod, He deserves it!

I ordered 10 , because that was the posted limit. Obviously nothing came, and no one answered any of my 6 emails, just like all of you. And now finally I get this from eBay today, several days later!

I think ita aweful customer service and this was handled very poorly. I happen to have not seen the dans deals comment by the seller, so I have been in the dark for days now waiting for an order that I paid for that was supposed to take a few hours to deliver. I feel for the guy, trust me I do, but this was just VERY poorly done. Shavua tov all!

My brother ordered 2 kits and received them both, though it came in 2 separate deliveries.

I ordered 10 and received none because they said any order with more than 1 per kit was cancelled.

I ordered one of each. I got a call on Friday telling me they would deliver between 12-6 pm. I got the order at 6:30 PM. Today I got an email from eBay apologizing for delivering after the scheduled time and telling me they’d refund my shopping fee!
4$ for 4 boxes 😉

I got the due to limit of 1 we cancelled your order email. I think that because this is due to their error they should give 1 of each set to anyone who ordered more.

So with all that happened with this deal- none of us are happy campers. (my order of 10 got cancelled).
I just got an email from ebay asking for feedback on that deal… now what?
Does ebay not know what happened? Are they looking to find out how the seller did?

My order of ten of each was all cancelled and I was not refunded in full. Not responded to my emails and did not even receive one of each so I’m leaving neg feedbacks seven days after the sale

I still have received my items, a refund, nor any form of response from the seller (who I sent multiple emails to), or ebay.

I ordered 10 sets for delivery on monday march 30 (today). Ebay tracking was saying it was attempted delivery no thursday! I contacted the seller multiple times and no response. I received an email from ebay saying that my order was canceled and i would get a refund, 2 days later no refund.

Can anyone justify NOT giving negative feedback????

Just following up on this eBay scam. Did anyone get refunded yet, or has anyone received a email response about getting refunded?

No need to get upset, just open a case in the resolution center separately on all orders and request a full refund bcuz item wasnt recieved, it will take a few days and youll get your money back, still no reason to leave bad feedback for a seller that is a ‘Shlamazal’ and is lacking the basic CS skills …

I got my refund a few days ago. (2 refunds actually, 1 for the items, and 1 for the shipping fee, totaling the complete amount)

I also, just a few minutes ago, received an apology from Ebay which included a $5 ebay coupon. The email stated that the error was Ebay’s alone and not the sellers.
