The best thing to do is check the service providers’ web sites and/or contact them via email or phone. Otherwise, you’ll have to rely upon people who aren’t using that provider to say, “I think so” or “probably” (which really doesn’t help you) It’s best to get it straight from the horse’s mouth.

My wife had an iPhone 3 (We’re on AT&T) and moved up to a 5 when they first came out. The 3 died a day or two later, we went to the Genius Bar, and they charged us $20 to replace it. I’ve been using the 3 ever since. There’s nothing I use it for which needs to be a 4, 5, or 6. I use it or voice, texting, and using the “Find My iPhone/iPad”, as I’m rather absent minded here at home.
