For plain front pants the options are black, black, and black.
I know they have diifferent sales every day. Is this from the better ones? Does it get better?
@Mayer:
$121 per suit is very good.
Also if you return one they will prorate the price and refund half the money, so you can keep just one for $121 in my experience. And they refund to any card you want.
@Dan: is the traveler’s crease worth it?
My husband is extremely overweight, but I would like to buy him a nice suit. Do they carry very large sizes?
What’s the largest size?
Can I buy an Executive suit for $177 (retail $895) and exchange it for a different type of suit in store of lesser retail value? or does it have to be the same type of suit?
@miriam
why dont you just check for yourself???
also, they generally will let you exchange for any suit in the same class. so, you can just buy the sale ones and exchange for whatever you like in the store
@nate:
I want to but a signature suit (retail $895) and exchange it for a tailored fit (retail $750). Do you think they will let me do it?
@Effi:
I would try it. Worst case, you can always just return it.
When it comes to Jos., you just have to deal with a manager. They have the ability to give you the cheapest price that any piece of clothes sold for that year on any random day. You don’t need a sale day to get the sale prices.
i have a friend that had shatnes in his suit (a grave transgression) does anyone have ANY expeirence with finding anything in these suits?
i forgot to mention, his suit was a jos bank suit…
yes, very common with their signature line of suits
I don’t think the executive line has shatnez.
Every wool suit has to be checked; no two suits are identical
The signature gold suits almost all have shatnez. The regular signature suits and the executive collection dont or at least in the 10 plus that i have non do.
@ nate my past experience with them in returning a sale suit and getting any suit in the same line has come up empty. They usually dont let you exchange for a suit in the same class. But you are right about the manager. The best scenario is getting a “in” with a manager and they cold take care of you however you like.
I’ve bought a few executive suits at different times, always checked,never shatnez
Regarding shatnez, every one should be checked, however the ones from Bangladesh are usually shatnez free, the ones made in Mexico are often more problematic.
bought the signature gold and had it checked there was no shatnetz, possibly depends where it was manufactered
whew! thanks everyone for all the details!! Sounds like best to go with signature and yes still get it checked 🙂
oops i meant executive
The post should be updated because the sale (at least the $176 + $76 part of it; not sure about the promotion code) is no longer “Today Only”. It’s now thru July 4.
@Dan:
I just ordered two suits and they added tax to the order so the order total was $256. Was this what you paid? Since when is there tax for clothing orders over the internet?
