Why should I not sign into my account? I had merchandise in my cart already but I signed out they no longer there.

I placed an order. How do I know that the visa gift card successfully went through.
did this deal, went through visa checkout successfully, but then after it sent me back to gap to submit the order i entered a gift card to pay (along with HAPPY) – will i still get the $20 GC, or will it be invalidated because i didn’t end up paying anything out of pocket besides the GC?
