This company needs to get their act together.

I recently sold cards to CardCash and they debited $97 from the sale total apparently due to a buyer reporting that an Overstock card I sold to them, egiftcard, had a zero balance. They had previously verified the balance and paid on this card (in October) and I assure you I did not use the card or otherwise give it out.

As someone who has benefited from their 45 day buyer protection I appreciate the quick reimbursement for “bad” cards. However, being on the other side of it, and apparently the victim of either 1) buyer fraud or 2) internal fraud at CardCash, i’m beginning to become a little hesitant of dealing with all the GC re-sellers (for sales). Unfortunate too, CardCash had become the only one I trusted.

I had a similar issue. Bought a Dunkin Donuts GC from CardCash worth around $100. We used it for a few small purchases and still had a balance of around $85, then then the balance disappeared.

CardCash phone support folks agreed to refund the Dunkin Donuts card purchase. I’ve been waiting several days and the refund hasn’t happened yet.

I’ve bought $1000s of dollars of GCs from CardCash without a problem over the last few months. If CardCash honors their buyer protection policy, I’ll continue to buy GCs from them in the future.

I’ll wait a few more days to see if the refund gets processed. If not, I’ll report back here so others are aware.

I’m standing on the other side of that situation, the buyer is claiming the balance was zeroed and I never used or shared the card.

FWIW CardCash has ALWAYS been 100% great to me when I have invoked the buyer protection, it may take a few days but they’ve always refunded me on a “bad” GC i purchased.

Question – is CardCash the same company as ABC Gift cards? I think they’re at least related. Had an issue there with ABC and they haven’t responded to my requests, if it’s the same parent company, maybe I’ll try this email.

Site is slow as ever and won’t move

i ordered a $300 Ann taylor card this morning. the care came with an invalid pin code. i spoke with costumer care who started the refund process. ive been in email contact with cardcash who said a refund has been issued. i placed a second order and the card came with a 0.00 balance so i placed a 3rd order for $300 and it also came with 0.00 balance. cardcash said refunds have been issued for all three transactions and they are looking into the issue but im still left without the card and frustration of the situation.
