The previous GOODFOOD20 that expires Jan 3rd was for UberEATS, this one is for an actual Uber ride. I found that out the hard way when I tried to use it yesterday. I exchanged a couple of emails with customer support because of it. I told them the wording was too vague and they fixed it in less than a day. I’m impressed.
Uber went into the system and changed all the codes!
GOODFOOD20 was changed to Ubereats in California
IBERCOHOLIDAY was just changed to free $20 ride in Colorado!
I just used it in NYC and it did not work. I checked now and it says for Colorado.
Terms changed Now says 20$ off next ride in Colorado…
@Dan Uber is going back and changing the terms of the promo codes after the fact. Is there a way for us to protest these practices?
I just went to look at my promotions and this one was totally removed from my account even though it was on there last night.
@xclevelander Yup, it’s gone from my Uber app and my roommate’s as well. What a joke.
Does anyone happen to have a screenshot of either the promo code or email about the promo code working for anywhere? I took an uber ride thinking that I’d get $20 off, only after finding out the terms of the promo changed. I tried to contact uber but they seem to not understand the situation and denying the terms changed. TIA
