In August I wrote how to request a 20% off coupon for Walmart via Google Express.
Last week I got an email with the subject “Here’s 25% off your next Walmart order.” It offers 25% off, up to $35 max savings, until 11/1. It’s too late to request a coupon if you didn’t previously request it.
I have no idea why they increased the coupon from 20% to 25%, but even nicer than that is that the coupon works for items from any store on Google Express!

Google Express is pretty awesome. Whenever we need an item from the grocery store or Costco we’ll just order it and have it within 1 or 2 days. I’ve developed quite the habit for La Croix Grapefruit seltzer because of Google. Available stores vary by the region of your delivery address. If you’re in the LA region you can even order from Western Kosher.
Google Express launched with a membership based model charging $99/year after a free trial. However Google Express abandoned the paid membership model in favor of higher free shipping thresholds from most stores.
They also continue to keep adding new stores.
The amount needed for free shipping varies by store. Some have free shipping on all orders while others have $15, $25, $35, or $49 minimums.
Google Express charges the same as in-store pricing for most stores, however Costco pricing varies by region.
You can tell when Costco prices are higher when you click here and see if the banner says than prices may differ from in-store prices:

It is cool that you can still use an AMEX at Costco with Google Express, as that allows you to take advantage of benefits like extended warranty, etc.
Non Costco members can also order Costco items with a 10% surcharge in most regions.

I will say that ever since google express switched from the subscription based model to the minimum purchase model, the prices on most of the heavier items skyrocketed.
For example: A case of Kirkland almond milk is $7.99 in the store. It was also that price on the old google express. Now? $14.99
The price for cases of 1.5 Poland spring water are also much higher.
Yeah, I’m seeing $4.25 for salt that normally costs $1-1.25. This is for Walmart. Thanks but no thanks.
Same thing happened with Jet.com. I rarely shop there now.
When I click on Dan’s link for the Walmart coupon, it takes me to the “about” page for google express. Anyone have a fix? I am using an iPhone.
