Hey everyone, I know there have been some threads floating around concerning T-Mobile Corporate Discounts (Starbucks, Avon, etc.), but I found a discount that is available to ANYONE for free. You can call in to do this or fill out a Migrations form online.

Go to Freelancersunion.org
Click on “Discounts”
Go down to “Life” and click on “T-Mobile”
Click on “More information”
Create an account and go from there.

Easy, painless, and no “icky” feeling from lying about employment or anything like that.

Some notes:

1.) This is available to both new and EXISTING customers.
2.) This does NOT affect your contract/commitment other than to change your billing date to the 6th of the month, I believe.
3.) Do not just call in and ask a rep about this; apparently some of the CSRs do not know about this discount. Go through the steps online, first (creating a Freelancers account – You will get a member number).
4.) This is a 10% discount for all “reoccurring monthly charges” so it should include your base (i.e., $40) payment plus any add-ons, like text messaging plans.
5.) The discount takes 1-2 months to show up on your account.
6.) You also get some other perks, like free 2-day shipping. Check T-Mo’s online store in the clearance section for good deals (which shipping would normally kill).
