Club warehouses must really be struggling if they are practically paying you to take their membership. Sam’s Club gives you a $45 gift card, for signing up for 1 year at $45, Costco awarded me a $40 gift card for signing up for a $60 year. BJ’s is offering this deal.
Or you can look at it the other way around. People are paying real money every year (remember, the discounted membership is only for the FIRST year) just for the opportunity to spend money in a specific retail establishment. I’m thrilled to have people come into my store just to browse.
Liam, I believe most people sign up for something based on special pricing and promotion, and forget/don’t bother turning off auto-renew. I’m not one of those. I really have nothing to purchase to BJs, but their tires are a great deal. I’d sign up for the 1 year, buy the tires, then cancel after the 11 months.
I signed up to Costco to buy tires. I assumed I had to remain a member to keep the tire warranty. I’m still a paying member more than 10 years later.
Hey if you use it well, then it’s worth it. My family’s purchasing habits= not worth it. Especially with the growing emergence of discount retailers of Aldi and Lidl, including shopping strategically at Walmart, I have NOT found Costco to be cheaper or a wiser option.
Just cancel the auto renew and send us the card so we can use the 6x credits

I clicked on the link, but something is wrong. How come I don’t see an option for $25? Groupon has a $40 deal not $25? Also it doesn’t say anywhere in the deal that you will be receiving six $10 credit rewards?! Please advise.
