I was looking for black leather gloves. $12.99. Thanks!
some of the ties are now down to $2.99
Coming up as normal price in cart
“Many of the prices listed are sold out, or higher once added to your cart. Sample deals added below.”
IOW, now we’re having dynamic pricing on clothing. What garbage.
ie, The Dan’s Deal Effect (DDE).
Dynamic pricing is really a brilliant idea for a business owner who would be minimizing his losses, but a horrible disadvantage for the consumer who is looking for good deals.
Dynamic Pricing works both ways. Prices of certain sizes or colors can drop dramatically if sales for those sizes or colors are sluggish.
They are having major website issues. It is not supposed to show out of stock items. I put a tie in the cart and it changed the price and color when I checked out. Just spent a half hour chatting with an agent. End result – incorrect item removed from order, and got a $30 gift certificate good till end of the month. YMMV
I don’t think the “dynamic pricing” is intentional – 2 different agents told me they are having major site issues and “IT is working on it.”
I got ripped off earlier for $5 a tie!
FYI, I liked a Joseph Abboud tie i got, but was not a fan of the Egara’s. Look and feel very cheap/low-quality.
Oh well, my emoji didn’t go through.
If it wasn’t obvious, I was joking about getting ripped off.
