Shatnez?
As long as the suit says 100% wool, I haven’t heard of any issues from people who had it checked out.
I have some expertise in clothing manufacturing. Wool in and of itself should not be shatnez. That all depends if the labeling is honest as it usually is. There are certain other parts to the suit and if they contain any portion of linen threads there could be an issue. If even one thread connects one part to another some people consider that shatnez, My production always took special precautions but this cost us extra. When the suit is being made they might pick up any small piece nearby to do what they need to do.
My opinion is always check each suit.

While obviously one must check, there is a din of bitull in regards to shatnez, a thread of linen doesn’t necessarily assur
I have purchases 3 suits over 2 years. I checked each suit and no shatnez.
