I ordered these last month when Dan posted. it was a dollar more then. and they are great.

@ Daniel: Any ideas on what the lengths are for typical shirts e.g. Paul Fredrick or Charles Tyrwhit? Or, are they contingent on the shirt size?

Just note that 3.99 is only for the 2.5 or 2.75″ options. The mixed size option is 5.50… still not terrible

Genuineguy…it totally depends on the style of short and the company…my collars from Charles tyrwhitt all fit different stays based on whether they’re wide spread, narrow or cutout collars…it’s worth getting the mixed unless you have one single style of collar and company in your wardrobe

Does anyone know if these are magnetic? I see other people ordered the magnets with these – but nothing in the description or the comments says that they work together.

FYI, I like using magnets below the stays and collar – it makes the whole look much neater…

Are you supposed to take them out before the shirts go to the cleaners or can one just leave them in? I’m asking because I normally leave the plastic ones in …

If you leave them in, don’t expect to find them when they come back from the wash or cleaners. Here, you need to worrk about rust as well.

I just went through security at the airport the other week with them in my shirt and i was scanned by that x ray machine and it didnt show up.

pretty fast shipping, got them on Friday and had ordered them on the 9th… 🙂
