I got this when it was posted in November of ’18, I still use I didn’t believe it will last so long, it was well worth it for that price, and my kids like it much better than the expensive Oster machines.
Can you buy different size stainless steel blades, compatible with this clipper?

Is this good for beard trimming as well?
I give haircuts all the time in Yeshiva. I find it’s okay for beards. Very difficult if you use a above a 1/1.5 on the beard.
