I am trying to figure out what this device offer me. Can I use it to cook a meal in a hotel room? Can I schedule it to turn off after Shabbos starts?

Sounds ideal for me with my kitchen help. She prepares the food and i can turn on the cooker from my smartphone, even when i am not home! Avoids the issues of bishul akum and leaving open flames waiting for the recipe to be prepared! Great for community kitchens too!
Regarding using on Shabbos:
Check with a competent rabbi familiar with this product. Just hooking it up to a timer may not suffice. The laws of Shabbos can be a bit more complicated.
