@Dan: Chatted with the rep and she said she said I was eligible but I have to order first. I made the order with 0.01 points and paid 49.99. Thanks for the reminder. I tried doing this a few weeks ago on new AMEX card and, for some reason, it couldn’t “find” my card. It worked fine today, though. So there may be a several week gap between getting an eligible AMEX card and setting up the Amazon link.

It’s not working for all GC trying to buy a Safeway GC and it’s not working

It shows the price of $50, when I add the promo code it takes it down to $25, when I pay with points it deducts 3,571 points. I already ordered, checked my Amex points and 3571 points were deducted. I called amazon, they said that was the promotion.

Code didn’t work for me, so I chatted as Dan suggested. Getting a $25 credit applied.

“Okay. request you to place the order. I will issue a refund of $25 within 24 hours of shipping of the item and send you an email Please place the order.”

It worked for me for a Starbucks gift card. Now I get some FREE COFFEE with more points to get MORE FREE COFFEE!

Make sure what you are purchasing is sold “By Amazon” and shipped “By Amazon” or it won’t work. Also, the Gift Cards should be from “ACI Gift Cards”. ACI is owned by Amazon, so it’s fine. If you have other amazon accounts for say, other family members, make sure you only use a different card for each transaction (I don’t think it works with amex cards that have different numbers for AU’s)…

Tried with biz plat and blue4biz both didn’t work tried opening anew amz acct and linking those same cards after deleting them from the first acct still no worky ….any suggestions other than chatting? And what’s a good num to call ? Also can i get the promo for au cards also ?

Still haven’t gotten my $25 credit yet, which they said I would get when the order shipped (which was 2 minutes after placing the order). I’m chatting with a rep now and they want to give me an Amazon Promo Credit, but I want the money back on my credit card like they said I would.

After 3-4 regular phone reps and having one agree that it’s a valid code I got disconnected mid call… so we took it to the supervisor and boom $25 credit…

How to take advantage of this promotion:

Many merchant gift cards work as well, so you can go ahead and search for merchant gift cards here.

On the payment page, select your linked Membership Rewards earning credit card. Select “Choose a different amount” and enter the number of points you want to use towards your purchase. Since I do not like redeeming my points at Amazon (due to the low redemption value), I entered just 1 cent which means 1 point will be applied. For the promotion to apply, the minimum amount required is only 1 point!

Do not do full points as it is not a good value!

You will see the $25 taken off on the right-hand side displaying your total amount.
