Doesn’t seem like pro. Not from the features, and especially not from the price. Pros have noise cancellation, as a most notable feature difference.

So other than the rubber tips (hence the noise cancelling option) I don’t see why anyone would get the pros.

go with the pros, they’re only $5 more at the moment (sold out on amazon, available now on walmart, see post from 11/22. ) Way more comfortable in the ear. Btw, the noise cancellation on the airpods pro is called Active Noise cancellation, which come from a built in technology, not so much from the rubber tips. It usually automatically kicks in when you put both earpods in your ears. (if you have an apple device, you have more options to customize and optimize your airpod’s features). 2 advantages of the new 3rd gen airpods are better battery life and a bit lighter and smaller.
The rubber tips are not what makes it noise canceling, though it may assist. ANC is a technology that actively cancels out noise, much more than what a rubber seal can ever do passively; or lets in noise when it’s in “transparency mode” which allows you to hear people while you’re wearing them as if they’re off.
