Just returned from a 9 state, three week trip to 13 National parks using a similar system. This was a game changer for the kosher traveler!! No more chasing ice or dry ice and no more messy, water logged polar bear cooler. We brought a few blue ice packs which we refroze each day to use in the polar bear cooler to keep fruit chilled. We brought all the meat we needed for the whole trip and had no concern for spoilage as the freezer was set to 0*. We brought parve ice creams as well (we are both lactose intolerant so only travel with fleishigs and parve). In addition we used a Pecron 1500w portable battery to power the fridge/freezer as well as power a West Bend crock pot/griddle, electric kettle and HotLogic “oven”. We were traveling in a Tesla Model Y and didn’t want to affect range so didn’t power off the car.
