Halachically a blech can’t have temperature control nor an off switch, so if you follow hilchot shabbos then no unfortunately.

Yes, definitely ask your LOR. We have this device. Kind of overlooked the fact that there’s a knob and were disappointed when we realized. But our posek (not at all a meikil) said it can be used in conjunction with both a blech (or heavy duty foil) and an inverted pan. It does do the trick.
I would have put AYLOR before your poskining…but sure. FYI You can buy a halachic blech for not much more expensive than this.
Should always use an inverted pan even with a “halachic blech” with no temperature knob for chazara…
