If you have Amazon Prime and placed orders for items with no-rush shipping between September and November than you should have no-rush book credits. Those credits expire today.
Orders from November 13th until now only receive ebook, music, or video credit and those credits don’t expire until 03/31.
The only way to tell how many physical book credits you have is to try checking out with a book. On the final checkout page it will display a no-rush discount if you have credits.
Need some inspiration for what books to get?
If you are a kosher restaurant foodie like myself then an awesome book is the brand new Secret Restaurant Recipes From the World’s Top Kosher Restaurants.
In it they divulge secret recipes from Reserve Cut’s sublime short rib tacos to Tierra Sur’s heavenly Zeppoli. They also interview owners and chef’s of the best kosher restaurants across the nation which makes for a really fun read and will yield lots of great tips.
It’s a really neat book with pictures of dishes that will make you salivate. I only wish they would have included more restaurants from abroad. There are great restaurants in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Hong Kong, and more that are very underrepresented. Perhaps in a future version (Note to authors: feel free to email me 😉 )

By any chance do you know of any books for $1?

My prime expired yesterday, does that mean I lost the credits?
@question:
No.
I only see Amazon instant video credit, can this be used for books?
How do i see how much credit i have?
@que:
No. Then again you can’t “see” how much book credit you have…read the post.
@Ash:
Read the post.
I heard that you can get the signup bonus on chase cards even if youv’e gotten them recently, as long as you get approved.
Anyone know if in order to do that I have to first close that card or downgrade it (for chase saphire), or can I get approved under the same name and social for the same exact card even only a few months after getting one (while keeping the original one)?
Second of all does this work on saphire, freedom, british airways and united?
@Dan: Thanks
Since it didnt work, i called Amazon… I spoke to a rep who first told me I have $2 expiring 1/31 and $4 expiring 3/31. then told me it cant be used for hard cover books, only ebooks and/or videos. Was the ‘real’ books an older version of the $1 for ebooks and videos that we have now?
Thanks! Wasn’t sure how to see how much I had!
I would strongly suggest the book “As Long As I Live: The Life Story of Aharon Margalit”
That is a good one +1
Does anybody know how it works? For my recent slow shipping credits some comes up as mp3 and some as prime video. Are you able to choose which category they are putting the credit to? I prefer mp3…
