yes you can
bosch is much better for challah

@bz: I’ve been told that this is a good substitute as the bowl now is bigger than before and thus more suitable for challah.
The bosch motor is more powerful- we have both the professional kitchenaid and the bosch, but we only make challah in the bosch; u can make it in kithcenaid if u split the recipe in half

My wife makes a 5 pound bag of flour to make challah in her kitchenaid professional.
This is the 4.5 quart model, NOT the larger 6 qt model.
