Obviously for a great team like the Penguins, (which has real fans) there are no deals. this is for NY teams that no-one cares about unless they make the playoffs….
ouch – but true
how Does this argument work with the Canadian teams? Canadians are the best hockey fans out there…
or perhaps since NY has so many fans they can make their profit in volume and dont need to have the 6 fans cover the entire cost of production…
If that were true and a way to conduct business. NY jerseys would sell at a 1$ rate being that thyey would 60 times the amount of people. Yes NY teams still manage to stink it up when they have to compete with competition. The only sport they can compete is Baseball since it has no rules and u can just spend however much to attain greatness.
of course that may require acknowledgement that there are 2 NY teams (and a NJ team) to compete for the “60 times” fans whereas many states have no teams and share fans with neighboring states. Not to mention the quantity vs quality business models are the two biggest competing models for businesses to operate under… Its the main principle that small mom and pop shops operate under, with the “personal touch,” when trying to compete with mammoth corporate competitors like Target and Walmart. Anyone with even the most basic understanding of business ops knows that. As for your last point, I totally agree. What fun is it to watch a team who can afford to “buy” all the best talent. (Also having difficulty wrapping my head around who they are supposed to compete with if not competition)…
Blackhawks for xl says $22, rings up at $32.
Dead
$29.25 for the Minnesota Wild was the best I could find, for a size Large at least. Its a good price if you don’t care about the team, and just like this style of shirt.
$12.79 for the Islanders-Large in this style. Thanks for the link. Lots of deals if you poke around.
