I’ve been trying for quite some time now to get my Dell 700m laptop to read my 4 GB micro-sd and 8GB SD cards. I’ve probably downloaded a dozen Windows hotfixes to get the cards recognized by the built-in SD card reader or by my usb card reader.
Having no luck, I bought a Sandisk MicroMate Reader from Amazon and it worked just as advertised. About time!

does it work for the mini SD cards on the 710 laptop?
It should work for any SD format on any computer.
Yes, it works with MiniSD and MicroSD. (Who still uses MiniSD?)
Thanks
I use the mini for my treo 755p
If anyone has a Pocket PC, there is a program called “Card Export II” that will read Micro SDHC cards and transfer files at USB 2.0 speeds instead of activesyncs ridiculous transfer. This helps if you don’t want to buy additional hardware.
