@Dan: Yes, but if you start with nothing, the camera only version only has the camera. Add $20 for a data card and reader, then another $18 for a head mount, and suddenly the $40 gift card is down to just $7.00 in savings. It’s a savings, but not as much as one might think (again, if you’re starting with nothing).

Also you can buy a 3rd party accessories kit for under $40 which gives you everything you need to start off
