Can anyone speak about experience? Can auto shut off be disabled? Can the temperature switch be covered?
Also curious if its safe to leave open for 3 days in a row (lets say 3 day Yom Tov), or maybe that’s why they make the automatic shutoff?
I ordered a similar product, and although the similar product has its own timer for shutting off, it doesn’t have one for turning on, and a wall timer could not be used to turn it on. That was the deal killer. I’m sure the traditional “Plata” companies will start making these and therefore they will become more Shabbos friendly.
