Can you subscribe and save or only regular purchase?

+1 and reposted below before I saw this.
I tried checking out both ways and didn’t see anything in the checkout screen about the credit. Just the link posted here speaks of it.
Yes. I did subscribe and save, and my promo just came in together with the shipping notification.
I didn’t realize the credit isn’t a general Amazon credit, though – it’s only for their “4-Star+ store.” Should have read the fine print.
Fine print does not say 4-star+ store… It just says Amazon credit
I didn’t get it either and Amazon said I did get it, it’s on my account it’s for 4+ star. I argued with them and said it doesn’t say that but they didn’t care.
Will this work with subscribe and save?
I contacted customer service. They told me there is no such promotion. Thank you anyway.
The first link in the post.
You’re correct. I found it just before you replied. Thank you. Sorry.
I didn’t receive an email! And I can’t see where the credit would be
Amazon never sends credits until an item ships.
My item shipped and was already delivered today but still no credit from amazon
Same, I received the delivery but no credit.
I had a 35% off coupon
In the for chocolate chip cookie dough! My favorite one…
I also got the order confirmation email without any mention of the $8 credit…Hopefully when it ships…

Item arrived, but no credit on my account
Not worth it. The credit can only be used on the “4 star store.” Which appears to be a subset of items from all categories that have decent ratings (from the very few people that buy them).
Spices that nobody uses, very odd sizes of bakeware, etc., etc. So you’ll use your $8 credit to buy something that you don’t actually want or need. Which makes it a complete waste. Save your time and money.
Where would I see the credit ?
Received a few days ago
Can anyone post a link to the 4-star items. I can’t get into my email account to get the link.
So… I got the 4+Star credit. Read the terms closely… says nothing like that. I emailed Customer Service with attachments and links. Got conflicting responses… 1 said a rep would respond within 6 hours and the other said they do not read these emails and to contact them online or by phone. About a week later I called. I told them very politely they need to change the offer language or honor it. I also told them what happened with the email. Put me on hold and said would transfer to supervisor if they could not help. She came back and offered me 100% refund or a second full order at no charge. I took the refund… so I got myself a rebate of $13.72 I guess. Pain in the neck… but they more than made good at customer service. I think the $8 credit is also still valid… although I don’t see anything worth using it on for me.
Nice, I got this ball, looks cool https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004RGSF6Y/?tag=cl03f-20&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1&psc=1
