Unlikely. But a courtesy credit would be reasonable.
Had a first baby. Received the stroller as a gift. The item said delivered in the mailbox and I received a plastic smartphone camera cover with the same tracking number that they gave me for the Doona… and it said the Doona was delivered. SCAM! There are some real nasty people out there!
Tell your gifter. They can call Amazon for a refund.

Was on the phone with Amazon for a while. They offered me a refund but I insisted on a price match for a new Doona plus compensation. They ended up giving me a refund, told me to repurchase the item and promised me a $150 refund once I receive the new one.
Just received a camera film in a small envelope, the package says 45 lb but ways maybe 1 oz. Total scam but seller is getting all feedback removed by blaming the fulfillment on Amazon.
