American Express is a DansDeals.com advertiser.

Check your AMEX account for a one-time bonus of 2,000 AMEX Membership Rewards Points by using your connected AMEX card when you spend $50 in one or more transactions online on Amazon.com by 12/31/17.

This offer won’t last long, so save it to your account now!

The easiest way to quickly get the 2,000 points is to buy a $50 gift card with free shipping. Amazon gift cards never expire. You can also buy a $50 eGift card that is sent right away. Or you can load $50 directly onto your Amazon account here.

People have reported seeing the offers on card like:

The Amex EveryDay Credit Card from American Express

Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express

Platinum Card® from American Express

To see if you have this offer in your account just login to your AMEX account, click on any of your cards to go the activity page, scroll down to AMEX Offers, and save the offer to your account.

If you also have multiple cards with the offer don’t rush to save the offer to your account!  Open up the Offers page for each card in a separate tab in the same browser.  Then go between the tabs to save the offer to each of your targeted cards.  Otherwise once you save the offer to one card it disappears from your other cards.

You can use this link to access the old AMEX Offers interface, which many people find easier to save multiple offers with the multi-tab method.

Always check all primary and secondary card offers, as secondary cards will often have offers that the primary card does not. You can add secondary cards in your own name to your primary login or you can create a new login for other secondary cards.

Multiple DDF users are reporting finding this offer on secondary cards that have their own login despite their primary card not being targeted.

Note that you only have to worry about an offer disappearing from other cards when they are registered to the same account. Saving an offer won’t affect cards that have their own login.

If you mess up and don’t save the offer to a card you can always remove a card from one login and make a dedicated login for it to register it. Alternatively you can remove the card that has an offer saved to it and the offer will reappear for the rest of the cards registered to that account. Once you properly save the offer to all cards on that account you can re-register the deleted card back to the same account.

@Patriot546:
Why was the offer showing up in your account altogether?

I saved the offer to multiple cards, language in the offer indicates that the points might only be awarded once. i redeemed three offers and only got one email from amex, anyone receive more than 2000 mr points for this?

David

Will paying prime membership be considered as an eligible purchase?

I saw your posting on this offer on June 6th and quickly checked our amex cards. We appeared to luck out on this as both my wife and I had a total of 10 amex cards with this offer. I proceeded to do the multi-tab trick to (on June 6th) claim all 10 – which worked – as I could see the offer was accepted and posted on all 10 cards (and we got email verification).

The next day I decided to start cashing in on this. I want to see how the AU would effect my personnel card – so I moved cautiously. So the first time I did the following
– I used 2 of my wife’s accepted offers – one from a AU card – and one from her own card
– I purchased two $50 amazon direct loads (using the link you supplied)
– I got two emails back saying “Great news! You just used your Amex Offer. You will have successfully redeemed the offer if your purchase meets the terms of the offer”
The next day I saw that she only received a credit for 2K MR points.
ALL the posted offers on the online account (all 5 cards) were gone (not visible any more).

The next day I thought I would try some of my offers
– I verified that the 5 accounts still had the offer posted in them (in my online acnt)
– I used 3 of my accepted offers (no AU’s – they we all my personnel cards)
– I purchased three $50 amazon direct loads (using the link you supplied)
– I got three emails back saying “Great news! You just used your Amex Offer. You will have successfully redeemed the offer if your purchase meets the terms of the offer”
The next day I saw that I only received a credit for 2K MR points. ALL the posted offers on the online account (all 5 cards) were gone (not visible any more).

Did I do something wrong or is Amex catching on to this?

UPDATE ON ABOVE POST
This did work 🙂
All the offers I signed up for came thru this morning.
So the others were just delayed in processing.

Did anyone have a problem with this not *posting* until after May 31 even though the order was placed before? I received the offer and placed my order on May 30, but Amazon apparently did not pay for the order until June 2, and even though I have my Amazon receipt saying that I placed the order on May 30, Amex doesn’t want to give me the points. Any advice? Was I supposed to know that you have to place these orders 10 days in advance of the due date just to be sure? Thank you!
