WalMart has announced that they will be holding their own Black Friday in July day on July 15th as well, with thousands of rollbacks as well as limited time “atomic deals.”
They will also be lowering their free shipping threshold from $50 to $35 and they won’t require a premium membership for their deals.

Ahhh… Nothing better for the consumer than a war between two mega retailers trying to undercut the other’s price.
Still, nothing beats a good old fashioned price mistake or glitch.
I think I’ll take a nap now to get into condition to stay up for 24 hours.
Any solution for someone who used their prime free trial period in the past, to get in on these deals without paying for a subscription?

That won’t work.
Trick is to wait on the lightning deal page and grab it the second it becomes available.
If there’s a lightning deal and I grab it to my cart, do I need to checkout and pay in order to guarantee it? Or since I have it in my cart it’s reserved for a few minutes?
Once it’s in your cart you have 15 minutes to checkout.
