Can you link it to your phone like dropbox?
@al:
Just download the Amazon Cloud app for your phone.
Google+ stores all your photos free.
@Osborne Greene:
People have Google+?
Who knew š
@Osborne Greene:
Google+ doesn’t store your photos for free at original quality.
@Osborne Greene: Google+ only allows unlimited compressed versions of the photos. Full size counts against your storage quota.
Amazon is allowing an unlimited number of full size photos up to 2GB per file.
Do add on members get this?
Haha. Totally. I don’t even have any other use for it. I do it for the photo storage. You can set it to upload ALL your photos automatically from all your devices. It’s quite handy.
Very nice benefit. I would imagine amazon did this to ensure they retain all prime customers. Once someone had their photos saved on cloud there’s no way they would cancel their prime and lose access.
And here comes another amazon business- photo printing!
@Osborne Greene:
Seems like G+ worthless if it’s not saving hi-res photos.
@Rachel:
Or just download your photos from the cloud before you cancel.
i assume it’s only photos and not videos?
@Tzvi:
Looks like only the primary member
@Shimmy: Can’t Wait!
I tried to upload my entire Pictures folder. After several minutes of nothing visibly happening this error message appeared:
You may have up to 100000 files in the queue. Please wait for some files to finish uploading before adding more.
Will it auto-awesome my pictures like Google? š I loaded it up to give it a try. Thanks for the heads up.
how many gig do they give you free & for how long ?
@1234abc:
It’s unlimited!
only if your the main account holder. secondary accounts are not able to get this,
For compressed (standard) G+ backups, are they good enough quality to print a 4×6 picture?
@Osborne Greene: But Google+ free storage is limited. You have to buy extra once you use up the free storage.
