Get ready for a hike in cost 🙁
My thought exactly
If you can’t pick the songs, it’s not a benefit, it’s free Spotify.
This doesn’t have ads.
Amazon music was always free for Prime members. What exactly is new here?
They added 98,000,000 more songs.
Yes, what changed
Wasn’t there a free version till now as well ?
Unsure why this is considered new. Amazon has always had a free music subsc for its subscribers….perhaps this is a broader selection?
Exactly, added many more songs now.
It says free for 30 days and $8.99 after
That is for Music Unlimited where you can pick and unlimited amount of songs.
How is this different than the Amazon Music program that has been available to Prime members?
So basically like Spotify free version?
Aside for not being able to pick specific songs under this new program, you also cannot fast-forward or rewind within the song that is playing. So it now feels a lot more like Pandora/Spotify than it did before (although it is ad-free).
I had a bunch of those 2 million songs, including entire albums, saved so that I could play any song at will but not download offline. Now I can only play those with shuffle. Big downgrade for free users.
Is it only free for the Primary account or also for the Household accounts?
Still has ads unless Im setup wrong
They added the first 3 volumes of JEP. Just finished a listening binge. Brought back such great memories.Thanx
Never used it before. Can someone explain how it works can I download all the songs I want if I’m A prime member or can only listen to then online ?
Stream only and can’t select specific songs.
More music but way less functionality. How do we convince Amazon to roll back these changes?
