do people still wear these?
Surgeons and Dentists.
Also popular in Silicon Valley as a sign of virtue. You could be alone on a stage but it doesn’t matter – you’ll wear the mask to let everyone know you’re on the good side.
I live in silicon valley and was actually raised here. i still wear the mask and get boosted. My father passed away from covid and I have an autoimmune so I don’t wanna struggle with covid if I do get it. I dont know what the issue is, nothing says ego about wearing a mask. Wear a mask or dont, who cares its your choice. No one should judge you based on your health choice. It’s only ppl that make fun of others who choose to be safe that make this a big deal.
Just curious is there any CURRENT science in mask wearing?
People joke about it being 2023 and people still wearing masks due to Covid… but here we are and people still want to debate over this topic I think that’s the more silly part. We’re here for good deals not good people bashing ! Nuuuuu
Why is it silly to discuss this topic?
It’s a lot of fun.
Dan Actually writes many times about fun trips and for many people to debate about this is also fun.
Tons of science!
Kids are having trouble recognizing others.
Hard to breath.
Dividing the country.
And more!
I wear mask because it helps me with allergy and prevent me for getting flu/cold. I know it works because I don’t have allergy anymore and haven’t got sick (flu/cold) once within the past year (vs at least once every 1-2 months prior). I guess it works for covid too since I never caught it neither. So it works for me.
People have their rights to not to wear one and I have my right also to wear it. Just don’t make fun or discriminate people who choose to do the opposite of your choice.
Bravo! My allergies went away the spring of 2020 from mask wearing. The only reason I contracted Covid is because someone brought it home from a super spreader event at their workplace. Luckily we took Paxlovid and the Covid was over in 5 days.
Isn’t it just easier to have some allergies vs. to wear you whole life a face covering? (hijab)
You probably never experienced how it feels for people who have really bad allergies. non-stop tears coming out of your swollen eyes, non-stop from your painful/red running nose, and what’s even worse is the itchiness that’s coming out of your blood vessels throughout the body. I’ve seen different doctors, tried like almost every medicine. Mask is the only thing that worked for me, for years, this is way before covid started.
I never had any difficulty in breathing or found any cons wearing a mask – as long as you get the good quality ones (same reason when people say mask doesn’t work because they are buying low quality ones). It’s just another thing I wear besides my clothes/shoes/hat/glasses/etc when I head outside.
Also, I only wear when it’s the season/when needed, but yeah, if I have to choose, I’ll pick wearing mask my entire life vs over going through those pain again.
Everyone has their own problem that others might never understand, just respect each others.
Bravo! My allergies went away the spring of 2020 from mask wearing. Works better than pills or allergy shots!
