Simplest spot would be to sell it to APMEX
Jewelers I called all paid less then spot.

Gold is $3000 an oz right now so you are buying it for the EXACT spot rate.
Usually to buy physical gold there is a surcharge of some kind.
On top of it, you should sign up for Executive Membership and get 2% cash back…plus your credit card rewards of 1.5-2% you should be able to save 3.5-4% and get the gold
Everyone has a different spot price. The only price that matters is the price you can sell it for. You should be able to sell the ML for less than a 1% premium. That is a great deal using a 2% or better CC and 2% rewards from Costco Ex membership.
Where can I sell for less than a 1% premium?
Check with local dealers, online dealers and buying groups.
